In this classic work, Eric Butterworth sees the divine within us all to be a hidden and untapped resource of limitless abundance. Exploring this "depth potential," Butterworth outlines ways in which we can release the power locked within us and let our "light shine."

"There is only one way under the sun by which a man can achieve his 'Mt. Olympus' -- that is to say, achieve the realization and unfoldment of his own innate divinity -- and that is by bringing about a radical and permanent change for the better in his own consciousness," writes Butterworth.

Butterworth demonstrates that the existence of this divine dimension in each individual is the greatest discovery of all time. He explains the universality of such vital subjects as: how to succeed; how to pray; how to find confidence; how to overcome personal problems; and how to find healing. With insight and sensitivity, Butterworth opens new doors of self-knowledge, and outlines ways in which we can release the power within.

In The Third Jesus, spiritual leader Deepak Chopra provides an answer to the question “Who is Jesus?” There is not one Jesus, Chopra writes, but three.

Ultimately, Chopra argues, Christianity needs to overcome its tendency to be exclusionary and refocus on being a religion of personal insight and spiritual growth.

In this way Jesus can be seen for the universal teacher he truly is - someone whose teachings of compassion, tolerance, and understanding can embrace and be embraced by all of us.

If we view life as chaotic and random, we feel powerless to experience our heartfelt dreams and desires. Behind this seeming randomness lies the Spiritual Law, which dictates every aspect of life. Whether or not we understand or believe the Spiritual Law it still operates as it is intended to work.

When we do not understand the Law, we feel as if we must beat our heads against a brick wall, looking for someone to blame for our pain. But when we understand the Law, it is as if we have learned to take two steps to the right to find the door to our personal happiness, hiding in plain sight. Trevithick shares these valuable insights with you so that you may experience your wildest, most wonderful dreams—without enduring the painful lessons that typically bring people to wisdom.

a world in which fellowship prospers and
    connects through the guidance
                of spiritual wisdom and experience.

Ministry of Prayer

At the Global Heart Dallas we truly believe in the Power of Prayer, as do many of the major world religions. One of our most basic teachings is that prayer works. We understand that there is a Power for Good which anyone can use anytime, anywhere. Countless lives have been changed by the power of prayer.

You are invited to open your life to the healing and renewing action of prayer.  When you submit your prayer request, you enlist the support of a consciousness that knows the Truth for you and acknowledges God's presence in all areas of your life.

Prayer request are received through the Ministry of Prayer by email at prayer@globalheart-dallas.org or phone, 214-361-2096 ext 4.

All prayer requests are confidential.

Dallas Arts Support

The Global Heart Dallas is compiling a portfolio of artists and their work to be used in the bulletins and power point presentations. Their creative expression will help us promote the UCLS Global Heart Vision in our community. The artists do not have to adapt their style or creative energy to our needs. We will choose from existing work the piece that best illustrates the messages we are sharing.

When we use a piece of art work in our programs, we will also make it available for viewing on our web site. An artist Bio will be printed with contact information, and list the places, websites, galleries, etc. where their artwork can be viewed, along with specific details about the work shown. The Global Heart will have regular art showings to present the works we use.

The process for submitting art: We are accepting a variety of creative expression: Paintings, Poetry, Sculpture, and Photography. We are accepting digital reproduction only. At this point we are not set up to handle other forms of submissions. Send a high quality jpg file (suitable for printing cleanly) to:
diane@globalheart-dallas.org.

Send a separate file for each piece of art along with details about media used, size of the original piece, title, when the work was done, if it is for sale, if it is available for viewing and where. It is also essential that the artist give written permission to use their art. For poetry we need to see the exact line breaks for proper reproduction.

… a world which has renewed its emphasis on Beauty, Nature and Love through a resurgence of Creativity, Art and Aesthetics.

Pastoral Care

Through Pastoral Care, Global Heart is expressed in form as compassionate sacred service to those experiencing crises and challenge. Our purpose is to provide care to people in our community by offering assistance and support through visits and prayer during health challenges and transitions.

Counseling

"It is the practitioner’s business to uncover God in every man. God is not sick. God is not poor. God is not unhappy. God is never afraid. God is never confused. God is never out of His place. The premise upon which all mental work is based is perfect God, perfect man, perfect being." Ernest Holmes

The aim of spiritual counseling is to facilitate a connection with one’ s own inner reality, strength, wisdom and spirituality.  In a safe space of complete acceptance, the Spiritual Counselor assists in gaining clarity and peace, and gathering the inner resources one may need to make the next step forward in life.

The counselor does not start out with an agenda, but allows the 'voice' of the divine to direct operations. Spiritual Counseling is based on the idea of Wholeness as a Principle in the Universe and in the individual life. Awakening consciousness to an understanding of Spiritual Principles is the path to Wholeness and therefore healing. Spiritual counseling also gives us a greater purpose to improving who we are and our outlook on life.

"The Spirit of God is an undivided and indivisible Wholeness. It fills all time with Its presence and permeates space with the activity of Its thought. Your endeavor, then, is not so much to find God as it is to realize God’s Presence and to understand that this Presence is always with you." Ernest Holmes
